Lady Gaga Tells Ohio: 'We Need To Elect A New President Of The United States' (But...)
November 06, 2012
Wait a minute. Did Lady Gaga just tell voters in Cleveland that she wanted them to get out and vote because "We need to elect a new president of the United States?"
When we heard her say it, necks were snapping in TheBlaze newsroom.
Considering the very public stance that Lady Gaga has taken on gay rights and gay marriage, it would seem to be a dramatic departure for her to tell her fans (also known as "Little Monsters") to vote out President Obama and "elect a new President of the United States."
To be clear, Lady Gaga did not endorse Mitt Romney. Despite her statement, as the interview continued, she clearly endorsed President Obama. Listen to the entire interview.
How do you feel about celebrity endorsements? Would you vote for a political candidate solely based on the endorsement of a celebrity? Take our poll and use the comments section to tell us which celeb, if any, could sway your vote?
