It really bothers me when politicians set up photo ops in the midst of disaster. And while I think it's important for President Obama to show the residents of New York and New Jersey that we're all here to support them in their time of need, setting up a podium in the middle of a disaster zone just doesn't seem right.
See what I mean?
If the house in the background of this photo was mine and I was struggling to put the pieces of life back together, I'd be a little more than upset that my president used as a backdrop for his own press conference...
