So your odds of winning the Mega Millions Jackpot were not that great -- close to more than 1 in 135 million. You can't feel bad for trying though.

And there is a bright side. There are so many more things that you're more like to get or that could happen to you than winning the lottery. An infographic made by Shane Snow a few months ago on Visual.ly shows you many of them.

I admit many of them aren't technically a "bright side," but still interesting to know the odds compared to that of winning the big bucks none the less.
