The so-called "war on Christmas," a concept some media critics say has been entirely manufactured by conservative commentators at Fox News, has apparently taken hold.
A Public Policy Polling survey says more Americans (47%) than not (40%) believe there is in fact a concerted effort to stamp out Christmas.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Most Republicans (68%) believe there's a war on Christmas while most Democrats (63%) denied it.
