Leaked: Pictures of $3.9 Million Lamborghini So Exclusive Only Three People Will Own It

"The most powerful and most expensive Lamborghini ever made."

Editor's Note: This story has been updated to reflect corrected specifications since the reveal of the Lamborghini Veneno.

Ahead of the Geneva Motor Show this week, pictures of a new Lamborghini so exclusive -- and expensive -- that it's only being made for three people, who have already supposedly put down their deposits, were leaked.

One of the early images of the Lamborghini Veneno began causing a stir on auto blogs Sunday. Jalopnik has this scan of the magazine article that might have started it.

This magazine scan was reportedly the first leaked image of the Lamborghini Veneno. (Image via Jalopnik)

But then more images and information emerged. AutoGuide details the estimated $3.9 million car as boasting a V12 engine with the framework being made of carbon fiber, giving it a total 740 horsepower. This means, according to Jalopnik, that it reportedly has a top speed of 220 miles an hour and can reach 60 mph in less than three seconds.

All in all, Veneno would be what AutoGuide's Colum Wood says is "the most powerful and most expensive Lamborghini ever made." Jalopnik compared its design to a "spaceship Lambo from the distant future."

The design is reportedly in honor of Lamborghini's 50th anniversary. It is expected that Lamborghini will formally announce the supercar at the motor show this week.

These specifications and images are not yet official but many auto aficionados are eagerly hoping they're true and look forward to seeing the actual product.

Jalopnik doesn't specify where it received more images of the vehicle, but you can see the renderings here.
