MSNBC's Ed Schultz

This isn't actually new but NewsBusters flags an interesting detail Tuesday about Ed Schultz's daily radio show: During the program, an advertisement for gold airs and it features a voice over by Schultz himself.
Gold as an investment is often derided by the more liberal side of the political spectrum as a right-wing scam, hocked by radio talkers like Rush Limbaugh and Laura Ingraham (Glenn Beck, too, who owns TheBlaze)...
"Our country takes on $1.7 billion of new debt every day," Schultz says in the voice over. "Can it ever be repaid? Never? That's why I own gold and you should, too."
The ad is for ITM Trading, which has sponsored The Ed Schultz Show since 2004.
