A truck transporting fireworks along the Trans Canada Highway struck a moose early Friday morning, setting off an impressive display against the dark sky as the truck burned.
The vehicle's driver and passenger were unharmed, Canada's National Post reported, but firefighters battling the blaze had to contend with fireworks exploding over their heads.
It was unclear what the fate of the moose was.
