Potential Zimmerman juror managed to avoid seeing any news about the trial
June 12, 2013
From HLN, regarding the second day of jury selection in the George Zimmerman trial:
One juror, a black female who appeared to be in her 30s, said she hasn’t seen any media coverage of the case, but that has heard about the case at church. She said she does not have cable or Internet, but that her pastor prayed for both families at church.
Whaaat.
Noteworthy: in late March 2012, 58 percent of black respondents said the death of Trayvon Martin -- the teenager shot and killed by Zimmerman last February -- was the news story they were following "most closely."
