Think You're Having a Bad Day? This Picture Might Make You Feel Better

"...a motorist's nightmare..."

It's Monday. If you thought you were having a rough start to your week, take a look at how one person ended his week and try to take heart that hopefully you're having a better day.

It's actually hard to decide who would be more upset in this situation: the 64-year-old driver, Frank Stephens, whose vehicle was bumper height in fresh concrete or Doug Fitton with Open Road Paving who with his crew had just gotten done completing the job in Urbana, Illinois, on July 12.

According to the Urbana News-Gazette, the incident occurred because Stephens thought the barricades signaled the area through which he was supposed to drive -- not avoid. There was not tape up between the barricades yet, Lt. Bob Fitzgerald with Urbana's police department told the News-Gazette.

According to Fitzgrald, a section of the road was closed for 45 minutes while the car was pulled out and no tickets were issued.

The News-Gazette stated that "much of downtown Urbana is a motorist's nightmare right now" due to road construction.
