Rocker Ted Nugent is blaming "liberal Democrats" for Detroit becoming the largest city in U.S. history to file for bankruptcy.

"Liberal Democrats took hold of the greatest, most productive city on Earth and turned it into a bloodsucker excuse-making hell," the Detroit native told TMZ. "Liberals seem to think that what Mugabe did to destroy the breadbasket of Africa in Zimbabwe is somehow a desirable model."
Nugent was referring to Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe, in office since 1980, who has presided over decades of economic crisis.
"If allowed to continue, our president will do the same to the whole country. Heartbreaking and tragic," Nugent told TMZ.
