Japanese baseball fans might have have felt like they were in the middle of a horror movie at a weekend game as they watched a girl in a nightgown with long hair over her face saunter up to the pitcher's mound.
It turns out the creepy character that climbs out of a television in the Japanese horror film that inspired "The Ring" is actually pretty good at baseball.
In the game against Seibo Lions and the Softbank Hawks on August 24, the character Sadako (who could very well be a professional player in costume) stepped onto the mound and threw a 64 mile-per-hour pitch, according to Kotaku. She promptly fell flat on her face, like she did last year in a similar viral video.
This time, three Sadakos accompanied the main actress. (Image via YouTube video screenshot)

This year, her pitch was not only faster than last, but they upped the creep factor by bringing out three littler Sadakos too.
Watch the clip ...if you dare:
If you missed last year's skit, her face plant after the pitch makes it well worth it (Note: skip to 1:35 to see the pitch):
Apparently, first pitches in other countries are more of a show. Earlier this month, we saw a famous taekwondo athlete put her own spin on the pitch.
