Impatient Canadians critical of Taco Bell’s late rollout of the Doritos Locos Tacos were later compelled to eat their own words – literally.
In honor of the fast food chain’s highly-anticipated offering, ad agency Grip Limited in Toronto had critical tweets from impatient customers inscribed on the sides of taco shells.
The ad agency then invited the impatient tweeters to a "special fan event" and encouraged them to eat their words.
As far as viral marketing stunts go, that’s not half bad:
