Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R), now a Fox News contributor, is calling on her colleague Chris Wallace to name names.
"Keep it TRULY fair & balanced," she tweeted Sunday morning to the Twitter handle for "Fox News Sunday," which is anchored by Wallace. "Release the GOP names encouraging you to trash [Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas)]. No more anonymous sources."
Wallace said on his show Sunday that "this has been one of the strangest weeks I’ve ever had in Washington." He said after Cruz was listed as a guest for the day's show, he received "unsolicited research and questions, not from Democrats but from top Republicans, to hammer Cruz.”
Cruz is under fire from some Republicans for threatening to shutdown the government if "Obamacare" isn't stripped of funding.
