Newt eats McDonald's in his 'search for alternatives to being overweight

In a promotion video for CNN's "Crossfire," former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, a co-host on the show, talks about his and his wife Callista's epicurean taste for fine dining.

"My wife has a McDonald's app that enables her wherever she is in the world to find the nearest McDonald's," Newt says in the video.

And later... "I'm a fan of the Chicken McWrap. ... It's a relatively low-cal product in my continuing search for alternatives to being overweight. My favorite food? The McDonald's ice cream cone."
