Federal Air Marshal Allegedly Caught Taking 'Upskirt' Passenger Photos
October 18, 2013
He was allegedly spotted taking the photos by a witness who then grabbed his cell phone.
A federal air marshal has been arrested and accused of taking cell phone photographs underneath women's skirts as they boarded a plane at Nashville International Airport, according to the Associated Press.
Adam J. Bartsch, 28, was on duty on Southwest Airline Flight 3132 Thursday when he was allegedly spotted taking the photos by a witness who then grabbed his cell phone, Nashville police say. The witness then informed a flight attendant, police say, and Bartsch was removed from the flight and charged with disorderly conduct.
The WTVF report says Bartsch admitted to his misdeeds under questioning.
The Transportation Security Administration said Bartsch, who lives in Maryland, has been removed from duty, reports WKRN-TV in Nashville.
The TSA, which is assisting with the investigation, is in the process of suspending or terminating Bartsch's employment, the AP notes.
