Georgia newspaper successfully worked 'Obamacare' site after trying Explorer
October 22, 2013
After countless tries, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution found success Monday trying to navigate the tragedy that has become HealthCare.gov. What did the trick?
From the AJC:
While the president was on TV Monday conceding that healthcare.gov is a mess — but insisting that the Affordable Care Act is not — the AJC was trolling platforms and browsers, trying to penetrate the recalcitrant website. After intermittent attempts all day, it finally happened, only on Explorer, at 5:25 p.m.
To recap: A user's best shot at tapping into the "Obamacare" system is by using an Internet browser that most web savvy people stopped using nearly a decade ago.
