New WH talking point: 'Most people' can keep their health insurance plan
October 28, 2013
Out: "If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan."
In: “Most people are going to keep their own plan.”
That's the latest spin from top Obama advisor David Axelrod this morning, a talking point subtly dropped during an appearance on MSNBC. “The majority of people in this country — the vast majority of people in this country — are keeping their plan,” Axelrod insisted.
Meanwhile in Florida, CBS reports that one woman's insurance costs are skyrocketing under Obamacare, going from $54/month to $591.
"What I have right now is what I'm happy with, and I just want to know why I can't keep what I have," she says. "Why do I have to be forced into something else?"
