Fox News anchor Bill O'Reilly said on CBS Friday that New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) won't appear on his show.
“He won't submit to an interview with me. He will not. Christie will not. He just won’t do it," O'Reilly said. "So, I can’t tell you policy-wise how versed he is because I’ve never seen him under that spotlight. He’s going to have to get under it, whether it’s me or somebody else, but he has not come in.”
In October last year, O'Reilly said he thinks there's a "personal" reason Christie won't appear on his show. "Chris Christie doesn't like me," he said. When Christie was asked by a reporter before why he won't appear on the show, Christie simply said: "Because I don't want to."
We've requested comment from Christie's office.
