Guess what happened to his health plan...
Former MSNBC host Dylan Ratigan received notification this week that his health insurance plan had been canceled due to the Affordable Care Act -- and he was none too happy about it.
“I bought a catastrophic health policy for $170/mo when I left MSNBC,” Ratigan tweeted Thursday. “Obamacare canceled the policy. New rate $600/mo. Thnx Mr. President!”
That’s right, the new plan Ratigan is supposedly eligible for under Obamacare will be roughly 3 1/2 times more expensive than his old plan.
His irritated tweet was, of course, met with a flurry of Obamacare supporters who tried to explain to him how much better his new plan will be. Others chose to note Ratigan's wealth, arguing that the new prices shouldn't be a problem for him.
The former cable news host purchased his now-canceled plan shortly after he left MSNBC.
