Ed Schultz: 'mainstream media, I believe, wants Obamacare to fail

MSNBC's Ed Schultz kept on with his borderline conspiracy theories about the mainstream media's coverage of Obamacare Tuesday.

"The mainstream media, I believe, wants Obamacare to fail," Schultz said on his show. "They look for every negative number they can find. They're afraid to do a positive story because they're afraid that somebody might not watch. The media is just cherry picking the bad facts that are out there, repeating them over and over again and in many cases, they're making stuff up."

In October, Schultz said the national media was "hoodwinked" by the Republican Party into giving negative press to Obamacare.

"The Republicans have taken it and hoodwinked some of the people in the mainstream media into believe that this is really a bad deal and what Obama is doing is, well, he’s screwing you," Schultz said at the time, admid reports that millions of Americans were losing their existing health insurance policies under Obamacare. "Come on, folks. This is about moving America forward.”
