Duck Dynasty' Cast Members Did Something Really Cool for a Teen With Cancer

"I pray that you'll bless her with healing and restoration."

A cancer-stricken 13-year-old braved the rain on Friday, arriving at an outdoor event via ambulance and on a stretcher so that she could meet cast members from her favorite television show, A&E's "Duck Dynasty."

Alan Robertson, the famed family's eldest son, was joined by parents Phil and Miss Kay and Uncle Si in laying hands on and praying for Skye Loustalot, a teenager who is battling osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer.

Skye attended the family's appearance at the "Bay of the Holy Spirit Jubilee," a faith-based family event in Fairhope, Ala. During the event, Alan, a pastor who viewers just started seeing on the screen during the show's latest season, led the family's prayer.

"I pray that you'll bless her with healing and restoration. I pray for her family tonight, Father," Robertson said as tears filled Skye's eyes. "I pray you'll lift them up in a very powerful way. Give her courage."

Skye, who is a big Robertson clan fan, said she "loved" meeting the family.

A few weeks before the meet-and-greet, Skye underwent surgery to remove a tumor on her abdomen, AL.com reported.

Watch the prayer below:

The Robertsons were already well aware of the teen's cancer battle before Friday's event. The family recorded a video for Skye weeks ago after learning that she had her leg amputated in September, AL.com reported.

Contact with one of television's most famous families was made through the USA Children's and Women's Hospital's Mapp Child & Family Life Program. Medical professionals contacted the organizer of the "Bay of the Holy Spirit Jubilee" in an effort to try and get the cast to raise Skye's spirits.

In addition to the video message, the Robertsons made good on their promise to meet Skye in person.

The teen shared her excitement on Facebook following the event.

"Had so much fun with my family at the duck dynasty event it was a blast!!" she wrote. "Thank you mom and dad for standing out in the rain for me I know you guys got soaked and y'all were freezing but I know you did it for me I love y'all and thanks to my sister to and both my brothers I love all of y'all I'm so glad I got to hold si's hand it was so amazing!!!!!"
