What Inspiring Message Will Glenn Beck Be Focusing on More in the Future?

"The most important thing we can do..."

Those who have been following the Glenn Beck Program in recent weeks may have noticed a change in its feel. Instead of focusing primarily on politics and the news of the day, Beck has been interspersing the content with uplifting and inspiring interviews, focusing on the solutions to what he sees as the country's problems, instead of the problems themselves.

On Monday, Beck told his audience that the shift is by design, and while he will continue to discuss the news of the day, the "most important thing we can do is to empower people."

"This network and this show, we are going to be a source of information and news and everything else, but the most important thing we can do is to empower people," he remarked. "For me to empower myself, empower you, and you to empower yourself and others."

Beck told his listeners that they must never believe anyone who tells them "there are giants you cannot defeat" or that "Goliath is too big for you."

And one of the primary figures he is turning to for inspiration, Beck added, is Jesus Christ. The most revolutionary figure in history told the world that "greater things than these you will do," and empowered everybody around him.

Beck asked what most Americans discuss every day, and contrasted that with Jesus' message of carrying out his Father's wishes, loving one's enemies, living peacefully, healing, mourning, comforting, and more.

"What makes us think that (message) won't work again?" Beck asked his audience.

"I'd like to take you on a journey with me over the next couple of months...but I need to be a much better man than I am," Beck continued. "I will tell you that I'm a shell of the man of who I need to be, and who I want to be. And I will bet you that in your honest hours, you would say the same. 'I know I can do better. I know I can be better. And I know I have to.'"

Beck said that while the "enemies of man's freedom" are doing everything they can to convince people they are dependent and cannot make it on their own, he intends to convey the exact opposite message.

"The world's greatest revolutionary only empowered people: that is my goal. That has to be the goal of this show through education, information, through every means possible to empower ourselves, for us to empower you, and to remind you at all times that you hold all the cards," he remarked. "You have absolutely everything you need to accomplish whatever it is you set out to do."
