Why Was a 'Shaq Balloon' Floating Behind the Window of the 'Today' Show?
November 23, 2013
A television episode of popular magician Chris Angel's show that aired earlier this month purported to show the famed illusionist levitating former NBA basketball Shaquille O'Neal.
However, this week radio hosts "Opie and Anthony" turned to the airwaves to criticize the stunt, saying it was clearly fake and suggesting a "Shaq balloon" was used to film the episode.
"His presentation stinks," the radio hosts said, adding that that particular stunt was "so bad."
Listen to the segment (Editor's note: Some vulgar language used):
Now, the infamous "Shaq Balloon" appears to have turned up in New York City.
On Friday, the radio hosts uploaded a 20-second clip of the balloon floating behind the "Today" show studios.
