That's Right. Ron Burgundy Has Now Officially Anchored a Real Newscast.

"Amber, you look lovely tonight."

Ron Burgundy, the "Anchorman" character portrayed by actor Will Ferrell, co-anchored an actual news broadcast Saturday night in North Dakota.

Burgundy, known for his narcissistic personality, visited Bismarck CBS affiliate's KXMB studios for the evening news.

Naturally, the show was riddled with jokes.

"Amber, you look lovely tonight," Burgundy said at the outset of the broadcast.

"Thank you, Ron," she responded. "You too."

"Are you married," he then asked.

"No," she answered.

"Well, I am, so don't get any ideas," he countered.

The appearance was undoubtedly aimed at promoting the upcoming "Anchorman 2" which is slated to be released in theaters on Dec. 18.
