A Crazy Family Brawl Was Actually Started Over Mac & Cheese

A South Carolina man filed assault charges against his son after the two got into a heated argument over macaroni and cheese Sunday.

Police say they were called to the unidentified man's home after his 20-year-old son Alex Rossi punched him in the face and head, according to WHNS-TV.

The argument reportedly started after the father noticed the cheese packets in the mac and cheese box were all missing and confronted his son telling him to stop using them all.

Deputies say that's when things got heated and, after the two exchanged words, Rossi punched his father in face and head, according to WHNS.

The dad then struggled with his son, ultimately putting him in a headlock, the station reported.

When deputies arrived at the scene they reportedly observed blood that did not belong to Rossi on his hand.

Rossi was arrested and charged with third-degree assault and battery, the station reported.
