MSNBC's Chris Matthews has landed an exclusive with President Obama, according to a news release. Details:
The interview will air Thursday evening at 7 p.m. ET on “Hardball.” Matthews, who will be joined by American University students, will discuss a variety of topics with the President including voter suppression, healthcare, the decline of confidence in the government and the overall political dysfunction in Washington.
During the 2012 presidential election, Matthews requested an interview with Obama that would air during the Democratic National Convention. The White House reportedly declined.
