Through it all, it ended up being former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) to say what needed to be said about the puzzling controversy over Santa Claus's skin color.

"It’s just bizarre," Palin told NewsBusters in an interview. "I mean, seriously? We’re going to get all 'outrageously outraged' over the supposed racial makeup of a mythical figure?"
