I'd Do it Again': Mom Who Leaped Over Bleachers to Attack Enemy Football Fans Defends Her Wild Actions

“She was hammered. Absolutely hammered.”

Video of a woman leaping over bleachers at the Sugar Bowl to attack rival sports fans has gotten over 1.8 million views since being posted on YouTube Friday.

Now, the previously-unidentified woman has come forward, and is saying she'd "do it again" if she had to.

According to Yellowhammer News and KWTV, the energetic Alabama fan is a photographer from Sweet Water, Ala. named Michelle Pritchett.

She told Yellowhammer News: “It started off being friendly, just us going back and forth about the game ... But what ended up happening had nothing to do with the game. It escalated. When they said something to my son, I told them to shut their mouths. They were telling my son to come down there and ‘do something about it.’ I said, ‘no, that’s not going to happen. This crap needs to stop.’”

Pritchett said her son is 16, and they "crossed the line" when they started "taunting" him.

“The security people had already gotten on to those guys for throwing bottles at people,” she added. “When they escorted me out, the security guard told them there was no reason to be pressing charges on me because those guys were out of control the whole game. I defended my son. If they had kicked those boys out to begin with, it wouldn’t have happened the way it did.”

Those who saw the original video might think Pritchett was a little unsteady on her feet, but she wants to make it clear that she remembers what happened perfectly and she was not drunk.

“I love The Tide and I apologize to all the players and to Coach Saban and to the entire fan base. I’m sorry," she said. "Coach Saban’s going to say ‘those crazy fans don’t know how to act.’ And I wasn’t intoxicated either. I want people to know that. I’d had a couple of drinks, but I was not intoxicated.”

But KWTV notes that it's a "he-said, she-said" situation.

Oklahoma University junior Michael Connolly, one of the individuals on the receiving end of Pritchett's rage, said of the woman: "She was hammered. Absolutely hammered."

He added that Pritchett left heel marks on his shirt and cracked his cell phone. He said he tried filing a police report, but was told it wasn't worth his time.
