The New York Post cover story featuring a (doctored) photo of a pants-lessEliot Spitzer is being rebutted by Lis Smith, his alleged mistress and former spokeswoman to New York Mayor Bill de Blasio.
"At [first] I was saddened by lies written about me in the [Post]," Smith tweeted Tuesday. "Then I realized they cheered on the death of a father of 8 yesterday."
Smith was referring to a separate controversial Post cover from Monday that featured a photo of a slain New York real estate developer and the headline “Who didn’t want him dead?”
For several weeks, the Post has covered Smith and her alleged relationship with Spitzer. Its latest report said Smith was spotted in a public hot tub recently, having her toes sucked by Spitzer.
