MMA Fighter Suffers Brutal Broken Nose (and the Picture Is Something to Behold)

Andy Eichholz is an MMA (mixed martial arts) fighter who goes by the nickname "Ice Cold." After being knocked out in the first round of his heavyweight fight against Wad Sauer in Oregon this weekend, he's definitely going to be needing some ice.

Why, exactly?

Well, take a look at his nose after the fight via Matt Lindland on Instagram:

"I'm no doctor," writes Barry Petchesky over at Deadspin, "but that nose looks like it wants to be an ear."

That's probably the best way to put it.
