TheBlaze TV Network Has Some Good News

"Audiences across the country have been asking their television providers to add TheBlaze..."

TheBlaze TV fans across the country continue to be heard as the network extends its reach of 24/7 news, opinion and entertainment programming. On Monday, it was announced that TheBlaze TV will be added to Buckeye CableSystem, America's 20th largest cable operator, and Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel), which provides cable TV service in Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland.

Within the past month, TheBlaze TV was also picked up by Central Indiana Cable (Greenfield, Ind.), West Carolina Communications (Abbeyville, S.C.), Comporium Communications (Rock Hill, S.C.), and Daktel Communications (Carrington, N.D.).

TheBlaze TV, which initially launched on DISH in September 2012, is now distributed on 50 television providers nationwide - including six of the top 30. Each feature Glenn Beck's daily television broadcast along with other original news and opinion programming.

"TheBlaze is a fast-growing network that provides a diversity of news programming that our customers have been requesting," Jeff Abbas, president of Buckeye CableSystem, said in a statement. "We are excited to start the new year by giving them this new channel."

Tom Whitaker, VP of cable at Shentel added: "Shentel Cable is excited to add TheBlaze to our channel lineup later this month. Many customers have asked for this addition to our channel lineup since the launch of TheBlaze. We are happy to meet subscribers needs with this new and exciting programming."

And Lynne Costantini, president, business development, at TheBlaze, said in a statement: "Audiences across the country have been asking their television providers to add TheBlaze, and we are proud to have Buckeye and Shentel join our growing list of partners."

TheBlaze has quickly become a popular destination for news and opinion. In fact, TheBlaze.com now attracts more than 20 million unique visitors per month and is fast ascending the list of the 100 most-visited sites in the world.

In a letter to his audience nearly a year ago, Glenn Beck said Americans deserve to have programming that reflects their values and beliefs.

“You probably pay good money every month to your TV provider for access to channels like MSNBC and Al Jazeera America – channels that you might not watch, or even agree with,” Beck said. “Adding TheBlaze will ensure that you and your family have a source of news and analysis that you can trust and that doesn’t betray your values.”

The multimedia personality added that only the audience has the power to “break the logjam and expose this network to million of others.”

“If we succeed then we change the media. If we change the media, we control the debate," Beck remarked. "If we control the debate, we change politics. And if we change politics, we change the country."

TheBlaze's Erica Ritz contributed to this report.
