Police Take Hilarious, Sarcastic Approach in Describing This Serial Robber

Police in Renton, Wash., are looking for a "crybaby" wearing "jammie pants."

This is not exactly what you would expect in a description of an armed robber, but it's how the Renton Police Department and local media sarcastically describe the man who has been holding up convenience stores since Dec. 20.

Here's more of the police department's comment posted on Facebook about the suspect, which took a mocking tone:

I've terrorized convenience store employees with a long-barrel gun, and tried to make myself feel better about it by crying and saying "my mom has cancer." I wear brown boots with my jammie pants, and I'm associated with a blue sedan, might be a Nissan Sentra, in the 2001-2002 range. If you know me, please call 9-1-1, or 425-430-7500 and ask for Detective Barfield.

"If your mom has cancer, we wish her the best -- but it doesn't excuse robbing stores!" the department's statement directed toward the robber.

According to KOMO-TV, the man robbing gas station and convenience stories with a mask over his face would cry, claim that his mother has cancer and apologize profusely for his actions.

A clerk described the man's voice as having a "nasal twang" and put his height at between 5'3" to 5'6", KOMO reported.

The man conducted hold ups three times, two of which were at the same store 10 days apart. In the first robbery, the man had a handgun, while in the second and third he used a .22 caliber long-barrel firearm.
