Jack is back: '24' returns in May

It's been nearly four years since Jack Bauer defended the Counter Terrorist Unit on Fox's acclaimed 24 series, but Kiefer Sutherland will reprise his role on the network starting in May.

24: Live Another Day — which will be set in London, four years after the events of season 8 — will kick off on May 5 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox with a two-hour episode. It will move to its normal time slot of 9 p.m. ET the following week.

With only 12 episodes scheduled to air, the series will loosely follow the show's signature real-time concept. Each episode will make up an hour in the same day.
