The 39-year-old Fall River woman was attacked Saturday night around 6:30 p.m. by two men wanting her money, according to The Fall River Herald-News.
The unnamed victim was stabbed, but the cellphone in her pocket stopped the blade. Though not harmed by the knife, the woman was punched in the face, according to the newspaper.
The victim lost $675 -- her rent money -- to the men she described as being potentially Hispanic and wearing black, hooded sweatshirts.
The woman was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
