Stunning Ineptitude': Pro-Democratic Super PAC Releases Ad Dinging the 'Disastrous' Rollout of Obamacare

"...blew the whistle on the disastrous health care website."

Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (D-Ariz.) is up for re-election this year and a left-leaning super PAC is doing its best to distance her from the catastrophic implementation of the Affordable Care Act, President Barack Obama’s signature health care law.

House Majority PAC, a group "focused on holding Republicans accountable and helping Democrats win seats in the House," released a video Thursday reminding voters in the Copper State that the Democratic incumbent once “blew the whistle on the disastrous health care website.”

The video adds that Kirkpatrick has recently backed proposals to address the “stunning ineptitude” of the health care rollout.

Now, the video may seem like an ordinary House re-election advertisement. But its no-nonsense take on what has been a terribly embarrassing ordeal for the Obama administration is somewhat unexpected.

Indeed, considering the fact that DNC Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) proudly said in December that “all of our candidates” will run on the president’s health care law, Kirkpatrick’s willingness to admit that its implementation has so far been “disastrous” makes it look like House Majority PAC didn’t get the DNC’s memo.

An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that Rep. Kirkpatrick’s office produced the above ad. This has been corrected.
