The New Republic has an all-around pleasant profile of new CNN "Reliable Sources" host Brian Stelter and his rise from anonymous blogger to star media reporter.
In the spirit of it, the blog JimRomenesko rehashed a 2002 letter from Stelter, when he was 16, in which he offered the following tip:
"By the way, yes, CNN, there is a market for the news you used to produce — not the infotainment you churn out now.”
Coincidentally, it was reported today in the Financial Times that CNN is laying off more than 40 "senior journalists."
