Thief Was About to Get Away With $25,000 in Watches, but U.S. Airman Wrote a Different Ending

The thief lost his mask and the bag of watches in the struggle and then fled the store.
A man dressed in dark clothing and a ski mask entered a T.J. Maxx in Evesham Township, N.J., on Sunday, walked right up to the jewelry counter and then smashed the glass with a large rock.

Police said the robber stuffed more than $25,000 worth of high-end watches into a bag and was headed toward the exit when he was tackled by a member of the U.S. Air Force, according to the South Jersey Courier-Post.

Police are still searching for the robber, described as a black male with light facial hair in his late 20s.
