After the State of the Union address New York Rep. Michael Grimm (R) was caught on camera aggressively scolding a reporter for questioning him on allegations concerning his campaign finances. Most of what Grimm says to the reporter, Michael Scotto of NY1, can't be heard but some reports transcribe parts of his comments as, "I will break you in half like a boy."
Grimm's anger management issues aside, TheBlaze Blog's main concern: What does it mean to break someone in half "like a boy"?
We're unsure and, frankly, too afraid to find out. It's an awkward phrase, at the least.
For future threats, we recommend "snap you like a twig" as a more familiar, more feasible alternative.
