The McDonald’s restaurant in Batumi, Georgia, looks nothing like your average fast food joint.
The wildly modern structure actually earned architect Giorgi Khmaladze an award for the best commercial building of the year from the architecture website ArchDaily.

The McDonald’s is attached to a gas station and recreational areas, but the unique architecture design is what really makes this structure stand out.
Business Insider compiled a short list of the various design aspects that catch the eye:
The building has a small footprint to allow vehicle circulation that doesn't disrupt city traffic.
