Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks, now famous for his post-game rant, has won the heart of conservative author Ann Coulter.
Coulter sent out a laudatory tweet of Sherman on Monday, hailing the cornerback as "a national treasure."
The tweet linked to a March 2013 interview of Sherman by ESPN's Skip Bayless. "I'm better at life than you," Sherman told Bayless at the time.
"No better person to do this to than insufferable sack of crap Skip Bayless," read Coulter's tweet. "Richard Sherman, you're a national treasure."
The Seahawks won the Super Bowl game Sunday night 43-8 against the Denver Broncos. Sherman suffered an ankle injury that took him out toward the end of the game.
