Christian leader Pat Robertson shuts down Ken Ham on creationism

One guy not backing up creationist Ken Ham? "700 Club's" Pat Robertson.

"There ain't no way that's possible," Robertson said on his Christian Broadcast Network show Wednesday regarding some Christians who believe the earth is 6,000 years old.

In a debate with Bill Nye "the science guy" the previous evening, Ham said he also believes the earth is just several thousand years old, when it is in fact 4.5 billion years old.

"To say that it all came about 6,000 years ago is just nonsense," Robertson said. "Let's be real, let's not make a joke of ourselves."

Robertson added that he's believes in the Theory of Evolution but not in the "non-theistic" sense. "You have progressive evolution under [God's] control. That doesn't hurt my faith at all."
