A U.S. Olympic Athlete Literally Had to Smash Through His Sochi Bathroom Door to Escape
February 08, 2014
"With no phone to call for help, I used my bobsled push training to break out."
U.S. bobsledder Johnny Qunn employed his Olympic training Saturday for what was supposed to be a simple task — opening his hotel room door.
The athlete realized the door to his Sochi hotel was locked or jammed. Without a phone, he took matters into his own hands, smashing through the pseudo-wood to escape.
Quinn tweeted about the event in its aftermath:
I was taking a shower and the door got locked/jammed....
