Nude Florida Teenager in State of 'Excited Delirium' Allegedly Commits One of the Most Bizarre Crimes of 2014

Authorities in Florida found themselves battling another deranged, naked man over the weekend who displayed an unusual amount of physical strength and violently attacked a police dog.

According to a police report, obtained by the Sun-Sentinel, the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office confronted Conrad Hopper, 17, who appeared to be in a stage of "excited delirium." The 17-year-old was wielding a "large clock, which had numerous sharp utensils protruding from its entire border," police reportedly added.

The incident started earlier, when officers responded to reports of a burglary. A 15-year-old boy said he was feeding his aunt's dogs when Hopper walked through the unlocked front door and started touching the child, attempting to remove his glasses from his face.

The 17-year-old, who the boy said appeared intoxicated, then began taking off his clothes, according to WPTV.

The 15-year-old, frightened, employed a trampoline to jump over a fence and escape to a neighbor's home. Officer's then arrived on the scene to find Hopper "walking around completely naked inside of the residence in a menacing manner," the Sun-Sentinel reported.

"He was breaking random things inside the house and still shouting nonsensical things such as, '5,6,7,8, grandma, girlfriend,1,2,3,4,'" the police report said. "Conrad was moving erratically around the kitchen with clinched fists and pacing aimlessly."

After failing to obey the orders issued by responding officers, a deputy released a police dog on him.

"Conrad immediately began to punch the dog's head with closed fists and attempted to gouge out the dog's eyes," the deputies wrote.

Finally, when authorities employed batons and a stun gun, Hopper was eventually cuffed. However, being detained "did not change Conrad's temperament as he continued to kick at deputies and thrash around violently," police reportedly said.

Authorities were able to get Hopper on a stretcher, but one deputy suffered a fractured arm in the entire kerfuffle that lasted at least 10 minutes, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

The 17-year-old was eventually given a shot of Valium, but even that had "no effect in calming him down," police said.

Hopper, who was taken to a local hospital, is now facing a host of charges which include occupied burglary, simple battery, battery on a K-9 law enforcement officer, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, four counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and criminal mischief, according to WPTV.

The incident comes just days after deputies say they were forced to fatally shoot another naked aggressor after he bit a man in the face and attacking three others.
