Anyone watching MSNBC could be forgiven for having Chris Christie fatigue. Since the story about his staff closing down lanes on the George Washington Bridge went national, the cable channel had nearly wall-to-wall coverage of the governor, especially in primetime.
HBO "Real Time" host Bill Maher is one liberal who's had enough. In an open letter to MSNBC, he wrote on his blog that he's moving on to other news outlets:
Whatever we had is not working any more. You're obviously interested in another man: Chris Christie. You're obsessed with him. So I wanted you to hear it from me first. I'm going to start seeing other news organizations. I'll miss what we had. ...You've stopped leaning forward. Look, I'm no good at being noble, but it doesn't take much to see that the problems of three little lanes of traffic don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world.
