Errant Golf Ball Results in a Painful-Looking Experience

"Everybody felt that one."

Ouch.

That's the simplest way to explain how a spectator at the Match Play Championship in Marana, Ariz., must have felt after he fell into a cactus -- yes, a cactus -- when a wayward ball came his way.

Golfer Rory McIlroy and other spectators' vicseral reactions to the "that's-gotta-hurt" moment are a good indicator of how bad it must have looked.

"Did that hit a cameraman right there?" one of the PGA commentators asked about the errant ball that was sent flying Wednesday.

"Everybody felt that one," a commentator said later during a slow-motion replay.

It is unclear who or what exactly the ball hit, but one man brushed a little too close to a cactus called a jumping cholla, which is known to release its spines at the slightest touch.

The man didn't appear to be in too much distress as a woman her keys tried figure out what area to deal with first, a man jumped in to help out with a knife and another man tried to push them off with his comb.

"There's knives everywhere. Where did all the knives come from?" a commentator asked.
