Rick Perry on 'inappropriate' Ted Nugent

“He shouldn’t have said that about the president of the United States. I got a problem calling the president a mongrel. … I do have a problem with that. That is an inappropriate thing to say."-- Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) on CNN Thursday reacting to recent comments by rocker Ted Nugent, who called President Obama a "subhuman mongrel."

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) has also called on Nugent to apologize for his remarks.
