Breathtaking Footage Captured From GoPro Camera Attached to Pelican's Beak

A new video uploaded to the Internet Thursday shows incredible GoPro footage of a pelican taking its first flight after being abandoned by his parents in a storm.

"Abandoned by his flock, Bigbird the pelican stumbled ashore after a storm and was taken in by the staff of Greystoke Mahale in Tanzania," the video's YouTube description said. "Watch as Bigbird learns to fly for the first time."

At the time of publication, the video had achieved nearly half-a-million views and garnered great reviews on the Internet.
