Delta Flight Makes Emergency Landing at JFK, Comes to Standstill In Grass

A Delta flight with mechanical problems made an emergency landing at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport Wednesday evening, ultimately coming to a standstill up in the grass.
According to WCBS-TV, the pilot ran into a problem with the plane's hydraulic system. None of the plane's 118 passengers were reportedly injured.

The flight was diverted to JFK because of the airport's long runways, Delta airlines reportedly said. As it attempted to land, it veered off into the airport's grassy area, according to WCBS-TV.
