Each year, thousands of individuals from around the nation flock to Washington, D.C. to partake in the annual Cherry Blossom Festival.
Photographer Jim Knapp is one of those people. This year he captured the breathtaking beauty of the blossoms with a series of stunning photographs, published to his Facebook page.
Telling TheBlaze that "dawn is the best time to go," his photos are the next-best way to experience the festival if you are unable to attend.
