The 4-Page Email Omitted From the Clinton Library's Latest Document Dump Is Bound to Raise Some Eyebrows
April 19, 2014
An email from Monica Lewinsky was omitted from the Clinton library's latest batch of documents released online by the National Archives Friday.
Buried in the midst of the 226-page document dump was a note on a "withdrawl/redaction sheet" showing that an email from Lewinsky had not been included due to privacy reasons.

The email was from Lewinsky's Pentagon email address and referenced a medical report. It was four pages in length and sent in 1997.
Lewinsky had been transferred to the Pentagon after her presence around former President Bill Clinton raised suspicions. According to ABC News, her affair with Clinton was still ongoing when the message was sent, per her claims.
The email was sent to Ashley Raines, who was identified as Lewinsky's good friend in the Starr Report released in 1998. That report ultimately released details of the Lewinsky affair, igniting the huge scandal which led to Clinton's impeachment.
